Sail Date: Apr 2017

We went on this ship to see how RCCL is doing with new ships. We like to sail on the new ships to admire how well they are doing. In most respects this ship did reasonably well. The ship itself was very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There were a few shortcomings that looked like they were trying to cut costs. The Hot Dog place had fewer choices than on the Allure, There was no iced tea available in any of the Promenade restaurants. The shows were marvelous - two diving shows (one of which was not listed in pre-cruise options and thus no reservations needed), the ice show, the headliner show ( ventriloquist Ronn Lucas) and the 2 shows with the singers and dancers. We loved them all. Now for the bad stuff - the My time dining was mis-named. It should have been called My Time dining Reservations required. Unless you make reservations before getting on the ship you may only have 9:00 pm available for reservations. We ate most of our dinners in the Windjammer as we did not want to wait in a long line at the main dining room. In my opinion I would choose Early dining on all further cruises and ,if I am late coming back from an excursion, go to the windjammer.
