This was my fifth cruise with Norwegian and the second time on the Pearl. The last time I was on the Pearl was 2015 to Alaska from Seattle. I have previously cruised with Princess and Celebrity but my future cruises will be with Norwegian. Our cabin was lovely and I can see the changes from 2015. Our bed was so comfortable I may have to get the mattress at home. Food in specialty restaurants was great but the main dining room Summer Palace and the buffet were almost as good. I love having Chinese food in Lotus Garden and had a couple of lunches and dinners there.

The staff were wonderful from our cabin steward to the front desk and everyone seemed glad to see us. Ingrid at the front desk even escorted us to the elevator when our card wouldn't allow us to access deck 14 where our cabin was after making a new card. The ports were interesting as I have never been to Guatemala, Nicaragua, or Acapulco in Mexico. Costa Rica and Cabo San Lucas were ports I'd visited before but were also fun. The Panama Canal lasted almost an entire day and was so interesting because they had local experts on board telling about what you were seeing.

Entertainment was excellent and I will never forget the cruise director Jasper and his assistant Megan as they seemed to be everywhere and always smiling. This was a 17 day cruise and I wanted another 17 days as I didn't experience all the services available!
