The crew was very pleasant. We discovered the "undercover" secret menu that the dining room keeps hidden away. This way.....your food is not mass produced. Just have to order it a day in advance at the dining room check in podium. Way better than the regular menu. I learned about this from another cruise critic member. The casino was average. The cabin was average. the ship was clean. Alaska was cold. Immigration was grouchy. Crew was pleasant. Not many kids on this cruise........so that was good. Shows were very average. Free casino drinks were good. Regular buffet and dining room was very salty, but the secret menus were great. Elevators were very good. Boat was old, but well maintained. This was a free cruise from Golden Nugget casinos. Alaska cruises are fun every several years. Going at the beginning of May means very few noisy children to bother one and no crowds in port......but you do freeze your buttocks.
