I was on a 5 night Enchantment cruise to Grand Cayman and Cozumel. This was my 15th cruise, my wife's 3rd cruise and my kid's first cruise. The kids are 3 and 7.

We arrived at the dock around 11:45 AM. We were in a Junior Suite (JS) so check in was quite easy without a lot of people there. Even without the JS status the regular lines had practically no one in them and lots of people to help. I could have been in a non JS line and have been serviced just as fast (at least at that time of the day). I completed the SeaPass online so that helped speed things along. There was a delay in getting on because of a computer issue with the card reader. Seemed to cause an extra 20 minute delay. We were sitting down in an air conditioned area with other passengers so no biggie.

Dining: My family dined at the My Fair Lady EVERY time it was open. It is MUCH easier and more enjoyable to be served food rather than race around the Windjammer with a 3 and 7 year old. Very calm environment in the My Fair Lady. Our kids ordered from the adult menu except for the spaghetti my 3 year old ordered on a few nights. We went to the Windjammer for mid morning and mid afternoon snacks as well as days at port when My Fair Lady wasn't open. Our My Fair Lady waiter, Amil, was very good. Perfect fit for us in terms of personality. That couldn't have gone any better. The food quality in the dining room and Windjammer was average. Overall I was disappointed with the food. Stay away from any of the breaded items. The Honey Stung Chicken that people rave about is nothing special. The chef told me it was prepackaged. Skip it. Most of the fish was overcooked. The meat quality was just OK. The cold fruit soups are excellent. My wife and I went to Chops one night and thought that was excellent. I don't think the service there was any better than My Fair Lady, but the atmosphere is really great. It was a nice evening. Plan for lots of time. Food was very good here and the meat was excellent. We had a comp dinner from a promotion so I don't know if I would have paid $50 for it, but I really enjoyed it more than I thought. Afternoon options after 3PM and before 6PM consisted of gross pizza, hamburgers and hotdogs. Only one night of late night snacks. Booooo....... The ice machines were not working on numerous occasions in Windjammer. For those of you with food allergies or kids with food allergies I found the food staff to be practically unfamiliar with the subject. Room service was fast, but the menu was unimpressive. There's a Seattle's Best Coffee and Ben & Jerry's onboard and for the life of me I can't understand why anyone would pay for either of these.
