Love Transatlantic Cruises, we chose this itinerary for the ports and 8 days at sea, there is nothing better than being in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean with no commitments. Unfortunately RCI missed the point on this cruise by far. The food was warm at best and repetitiave, the crew seemed miserable and we watched some very harsh Guest Services agents while in line just getting our bill. Chops grill is too expensive for what you get, but was definitely an upgrade from the terrible cut of Striploin offered in the Main Dining room. Running out of supplies 9 days into a 14 day itinerary and not restocking in port was indicative of the whole RCI attitude on this sailing- " thanks for your money-too bad for you". Lining up to board the ship in LIsbon was over an hour- 1 entrance and 2 Seapass staff for 4000 passengers an a short port day just doesn't cut it. RCI has a lot of experience in Transatlantic sailings and how they could be so off on this was unfortunate. Entertainment was struggling-its like they couldn't find any good acts too fill the itinerary. Ship was clean and it was a good thing the weather was not nice enough o allow us to use the pools as there was a lot of construction going on the Pool deck.
This Cabin was great- no complaints- great location to the Promenade, theatre and spa.
We went to Sintra, Pena Palace and it was not worth the journey.
Loved this Old historic city
The Alcazaba was great and we enjoyed this port.
