Hi: just got back from the best cruise in a long time. I am 59, wife 55, two teen age girls 15 and 13. all have cruised many times. we had two rooms across from each other 1840 and 1842. Please don't judge this review buy the catagory of the rooms. We travel down here because the girls and I get see sick. Alaska Aug. 22-29. wife had been checking weather so expected rain for the whole trip, WEATHER was GREAT,some light rain that was all,and while at the Hubbard Glacier, bright sun shine. Lets talk about the ship and the cruise experance. Lets start with the flight there. Sorry we would cruise a deal more if not for the ***** you have to go through at the airports. I just want to shout I'm an americam *** and we should not have to be treated this way. I can only hope and pray that someday in the not to distant future our kids could see what it use to be like to be american. OK my cruise experience started off good right from the bus trip forward driver was nice and informative. staff at port and getting on the ship went well. Rooms better then expected. After reeding reviews much seems to be made of not meeting their room stuards to much latter durring. Got to room asked where I could get Ice was not told but given the time to be shown where and how to get it. Hardly ever saw the him after., yet rooms were kept great and remimber we were with two teens girls non the less. I've been given the worning I am going too long so let me finish with what I think everyone should ask value and experience for the money. well it's up there very high, you would have to have tried very hard to have had a bad time. sorry about the spelling two college degrees and still can't or will not do it.
