Let me start by saying that I have never complained about "any" cruise that I have been on in my life, they were all pretty great with some minor flaws and lots of positives... with that been said, I must let potential Norwegian Dawn cruisers get a peek into this ship and crew:

A couple complaints and then I'll breakdown the issues by category. Trust me this is a ship you will not be impressed with...

1. My wife has taken a small bottle of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar on every cruise for years. It's used as a medicinal product where she takes a splash of it with water 3 times a day to keep her body alkaline. This seems to help a lot with abating her MS symptoms. Upon check in a real uncertain group of security guards first said it was ok then a lady grabbed it and said no without giving us any reason. We asked to speak with a supervisor and they just said NO. I asked for a Manager and it was just another security guard sitting behind a folding table who didn't even consider our reasons, she just said NO. The entire embarkation staff appeared to have been hired at the local port. I couldn't help but feel that this was a power thing of "I can do what I want because I'm in charge!" They would not give us a reason why they wouldn't let us take it, they just said we couldn't! They allow alcohol with a corkage fee, they allow Listerine, they allow hydrogen peroxide and so many other items. They just didn't feel the need to give us a reason.

Terrible pulsating resonance. Had to change rooms to 8097 which was fine except for the drawer that would open whenever the ship leaned to starboard (took 3 days and 3 calls to get it fixed), hinge was detached and sticking out the entire cruise (didn't even call because it didn't affect much and didn't want to start the process for multiple calls again), had to stick pieces of folded up paper into gap between the ceiling and wall panels to stop the annoying vibration of the metal ceiling (it worked). They gave us a bottle of wine because we were "Bronze" Members. This was the most disgusting tasting wine me and my wife have ever tasted. Heard the same thing from many others.
