If you've never cruised before, don't book the Regal Princess! You'll be too spoiled to sail with anyone else. She's elegant with a modern twist. Rich faux cherry, shiny brass and sumptuous rugs. Modern chandeliers with dripping baubles replace tired overhead lights. Princess corrected annoying details in the bathrooms. The sink is enlarged to a usable rectangle with the faucet moved to the side corner; larger, longer toiletry shelves and hand held showers. The bed's cushioned headboard goes up to the ceiling. The three story atrium has been improved by relocating the purser's office and shore excursion desk off to the side. It's the heartbeat of the ship. Always something going on.Two buffet lines accommodate the additional guests with a wonderful outside eating area in the aft. Thankfully the desserts have improved immensely with the addition of a master chocolatier. We enjoyed a FULL day at our ports, unlike other cruise lines that have you board early afternoon. There are diverse entertainment options which make for great evenings. It's truly a floating resort.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BD

The cabins have a calming color scheme. Storage is always a premium on cruise ships, but the cabin takes advantage of every conceivable spot. We actually had storage space to spare. Of course the balcony is my favorite. I enjoyed reading my Kindle with the fresh fruit thoughtfully delivered to our cabin every day.
