My husband and I wanted to go on a different itinerary away from the Western Caribbean. We chose the Escape April 22-29th cruise. We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary while on board. The ship is huge, but the itinerary is wonderful - we had an exceptional time. Every crew member that we came in contact with was so warm and helpful. Special kudos to Jocelyn our room steward who was so attentive and friendly and made the cutest towel animals! Joey, the Maitre'd at Cagney's who sang to us for our anniversary dinner, and most importantly, Manuela the shopping guru that help to fix what could have been a huge problem with a jewelry purchase. She was incredible - went over and beyond our wildest expectations!

The food was great - lots of places to check out, the penny slots in the casino paid off really well (HA!), and getting on and off this big ship was a breeze! Make sure to go and see The Brat Pack and also the Wine Lover's Musical - they were both GREAT! We did get the 3 Night Specialty Dinner package and it was tremendous. Didn't purchase the Unlimited Drinks package - we figured it out and paid less per day doing it the regular way.

The Spice H2O area for adults only was really nice and the bar makes a mean Mudslide!! Though there were lots of people on board, we never seemed to have to wait for meals (Freestyle is the way to go!) and all the passengers that we met were so happy and friendly. I swear we never saw anything but smiles on peoples faces.

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

We upgraded from a regular balcony suite to a mini-suite. I don't think that there was much difference in the size, but the location was definitely better and the shower was wonderful. Nice balcony to sit out on and read or watch the boats and ports come and go. Won't do another trip without at least a balcony!

Port Reviews

Tortola

Taxi ride to the beach was a roller coaster ride! The beach was beautiful though!

Nassau

The beach next to the Atlantis hotel is beautiful - white sands and gorgeous water! Very crowded and too many vendors bothering you all the time, but spend time soaking up the suns rays and playing in the surf and you don't care about the rest of the world!
