my husband and i have just got back from a weeks holiday in palma nova and a week on the island escape we had a great time . we were all inclusive for two weeks and well worth it because the weather was fantastic and we drank loads of fruit juices and non alcoholic cocktails during the day . this was our fourth time with island cruises 2 of which were on the island star.The captain was brilliant with a great sense of humour David Bathgate the best captain!!!!! all food was great didnt go on any trips did our own thing,didnt buy any photos that had been taken when we got off at differant ports ,we have lots from previous cruises and didnt feel it necessary.My only critisism internet cafe expensive and slow connection,and if we cruise again we will not be at the rear of the ship (too noisey)great staff and crew.great ports of call my favorite places so far are monacco, monte carlo ,rome, naples,sardinia,toulon,barcelona,mahon.just 1 word of warning though if you go in school holiday time you will probably find lots of familys with children on board and they love the swimming pool.some people were moaning about this while we were on the escape this time my motto is children need a holday too!!!cant wait for our next cruise on the escape next year
