My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary on the Voyager. We have cruised two times prior to this and have decided that cruising is the ultimate vacation. Royal Caribbean is definitely our favorite cruise line.

We arrived in Miami the night before our cruise due to a past experience of having our luggage lost. The most valuable piece of advice I can give is to always fly in the night before just in case your luggage is lost or you miss a connecting flight. Also, keep a positive attitude. If you don't have fun on a cruise it really is your own fault, even if your luggage is lost! We ate in Miami in the Art Deco district at Nexxt Cafe. Great way to people watch and get a taste of Miami. After dinner we had a unique ice cream experience at Gelate Parmalat. Did I mention it was Spring Break? The streets were crowded but it helped make the experience all the more fun!

The next day we arrived on the ship about noon. There was no line whatsoever. We attempted to upgrade to a cabin with a balcony but they wanted $600 to upgrade and I wanted to give $300. But I would not give up. After all it was my 20th anniversary! I took advantage of the spa special and got a massage and facial. It was heavenly. I again asked for a room with a balcony at the Crown and Anchor desk. This time they accepted my $300 offer and we moved the next day. It was absolutely the best way to cruise! We watched the sun rise and set from our room. My husband likes to relax and I like to keep active. I did all the activities, rock climbing, roller blading, running, aerobics, spinning, etc. All were fantastic!
