Great first cruise experience. My wife and I wanted to cruise on a large ship and this one didn’t disappoint. All staff members were professional, friendly, and helpful. The food and entertainment, variety and quality, were great. Ship and ports had plenty activities available. Pools and slides, miniature golf, and rock climbing wall were beyond what I would expect on a ship. We got a lot of exercise on stairs as elevators were generally full and slow. Communication to the mainland is challenging. My Verizon service never worked per plan. Ship costs for internet and phone service were excessive and performance lacking. This was not a deal breaker would just be nice to have the capability to communicate with others on the ship and check out your own port details. Beverage packages were pricy as well. We believe we’ll pass on the package next time unless they can offer a reasonable spouse or family package. Traveling with a group of cruise experienced friends made the cruise very enjoyable for us.
