I chose this cruise because I had sailed Norwegian before and was pleased with the ship and the service. I was arranging a cruise for myself and 3 friends and this gave us destinations we preferred.

We departed after spending 3 days in the port city of Barcelona. We all loved the city and agreed we would return. Barcelona is a lovely city to explore and has wonderful opportunity to enjoy the city. We enjoyed the Ramblas, walking and viewing the shops. We walked on the waterfront and took a boat ride to view the beach from another angle. We dined at the Arenas which has several lovely restaurants. We chose the La Lola and had wonderful food and service, in fact we went there 2 nights.

We all agreed that the embarkation was the smoothest we ever experienced in all of our cruising. The port and the cruise line were efficient and friendly. We were able to board by noon (our ship did not depart until 6 p.m.) which gave us time to enjoy a lunch in the Taste dining room and explore the ship, get settled in our cabins, and relax with a cocktail for departure.
