We are platinum members of Carnival's VIP membership; we have done 13 cruises now. We booked this cruise with our friends and were so surprised by some of the changes on the Carnival Conquest and hoping these are not fleet changes.

Embarkation was the worst since our 1st cruise in 2005. We were sent to a very small room and then led out by a Carnival employee through all the other people waiting for their zone to be called. We were following another couple who we thought was in our group and ended up in wrong area; luckily we backtracked and found the right way. Everything seemed chaotic and lacked organization& we had arrived at our allotted time we had picked during online check in. Our cruise before was out of Miami and was so organized and smooth.

Second; as platinum members our staterooms are ready first; well that was not so. We went to our floor and a carnival employee told us our stateroom was ready, so we went and put our things in the room; only to find out later from our room Stewart Purtra that our room wasn't completely ready and he had more to do in it. We then apologized to him and allowed him the time to complete the room.
