A re position cruise to NJ that was an excellent choice and very convenient for the departure port and arrival home. Good itinerary. service, food choices btw restaurants and buffet. The downsizing of Summit was a big contrast to the mega ships that we had been on previously and was a welcome change. A very relaxed atmosphere and calm was on the ship without the in your face pushiness we had on the prior cruises with NCL and RCI. The service was excellent with an almost 2 to 1 ratio of staff to passengers. The Veranda cabin has an excellent use of space with a lot of storage provided. Meal choices btw buffet and restaurants gave enough variety though the week. Overall despite the girl's age she shined. I would highly recommend this ship if you need down time and a relaxing vacation instead of the hustle found on the bigger ships. The only con that I can think of is that its not geared for young families with children so you may want to go elsewhere the get your monies worth. The average age was btw 40 - 60 with very few others on either side. Great ship and Capt Kate and crew were on their game all week. Highly recommend this ship and various itineraries she is deployed on btw the Caribbean and Bermuda.
