We were on the CP for the transatlantic after it came out of drydock. We have been on the CP twice before, and thought I'd post my opinion of some of the changes, good and bad.

Hits - New beds very comfortable, new layout for buffet area and it's much easier to get around, better wifi coverage on ship (although it's still not very fast), movie screen by pool much brighter and clearer picture,

Misses - main dining room menus I found disappointing many nights, steak is no longer available on everyday menu, and some nights no steak was available.

Oceanview (obstructed view)

Cabin OZ

Cabin was fairly roomy and liked the location. Would do again.

Port Reviews

Cobh (Cork)

Cobh was very nice town, and enjoyed walking around. Cathedral was beautiful. Then took train to Cork, which in my opinion is just a city. We did not go to Blarney Castle, which a lot of people did.

Falmouth

Walked around Falmouth, and then also walked up to Pendennis Castle. It was a beautiful day, and the views were amazing. Really enjoyed Falmouth.

Le Havre

Booked an excursion ahead of time with Overlord Tours of Omaha Beach, Normandy Cemetary, Bayeux, and Honfleur. Very enjoyable.
