Allure of the Seas Review

Great ship with lots of activities and exceptional service

Review for the Western Caribbean Cruise on Allure of the Seas
Always something going on!
Decent beach in Haiti. Lots of people selling art and things on your way t
Chops Grill was a nice restaurant for our birthday celebration.

This was our fifth cruise, but our first with RC. We chose Allure because it was big ship with many activities, which is what we like. We splurged and stayed in the Crown Loft Suite on floor 17 (#1744). We traveled with a two other friends who did not stay in a suite.

Cleanliness: The ship as very clean and fresh. Our room was immaculate and housekeeping kept it up throughout the cruise.

Variety: There is so much variety, that we could not possibly partake in everything. We mostly enjoyed lying at the Solarium Deck, that we often just didn't arrange to do much else, although it seemed that e did a lot. We missed out on several shows and never got the opportunity to do rock climbing, golf or zip line.

Cabin Review

Crown Loft Suite with Balcony

Cabin L1

Such a great cabin. Very nicely laid out, with two full bathrooms and nice closet space. There were only two of us, but it was very nice to have two full bathrooms. The upstair bathroom featured a large shower with three shower heads. My husband and I could shower together, easily. The bed was very comfortable, and they offer a pillow menu, so you can chose what kind of pillow you like. The stairs are very easy to walk up and down, and are super soft on the feet. The light switch features settings for different parts of the day, so you can go full bright or very dim, at the touch of a button. Our cabin was very near Coastal Kitchen and the lounge. We could also go down one flight of stairs and be right on the deck for sunbathing or take a short walk over to the Solarium (adults area).

The only thing I'd recommend is an elevator this is for suite guests only. Each time we go in the elevator to go to the 17th floor, it took a long while, because everyone else is getting off and on as you go up. Maybe that's not practical, but it should be considered.
