My mum has always wanted to return to Israel having visited 30 years ago and this was her first adventure ever on a cruise ship.

I was concerned about sailing on the oldest smallest ship in the fleet, as I usually choose new ships. This was my first time on NCL.

The ports were amazing, Venice, Split, Kotor, Rhodes, Isreal overnight, Crete, Rhodes and Cyprus. I was worried that the weather might be cold, but the only cold days was the day in Kotor and one sea day. Sadly the ship doesn't have many places where you can hide from a northerly wind. We were travelling in late April

Cabin I1

Very very noisy, see the main review.

Port Reviews

Crete (Heraklion)

Booked a tour with a jeep company, visited the mountains and some villages. Didn't see the shepherds due to it being Good Friday.

Haifa (Tel Aviv)

Fabulous 2 day excursion. Visited so many places, Jersusleum, Bethlehem, Sea of Galiee, River Jordon and lots of other places whose names escape me. Our guide was brilliant made the history come to life.

Rhodes

Loved Rhodes, the bodices right next to the old town. Lots of lovely shops and bars etc.

Split

Loved this place too. Everything is in walking distance from the ship.
