We chose this cruise mainly because of its itinerary. The ship itself was nothing to write home about but served the purpose just fine. We are not wall climbers or wave runner people so none of that stuff was missed. If you are looking for a lot of action, this ship is not for you. If you are content with relaxing and some occasional entertainment you'll fit right in.
We embarked in Venice, Italy. Seemed it was somewhat confusing and the staff didn't know exactly which line we needed to be in. We booked a suite and normally there is a separate check in line but there wasn't this time. When we finally did get checked in we were escorted to a private sitting area where we given a liaison to guide us onto the ship. From then on we were treated like royalty!
The food in the main Dining rooms where just acceptable , I did order the "baby" back ribs that seemed to come from a dinosaur baby and I could hardly cut through the meat We ate mostly at the other restaurants , Cagney's,Le Bistro, Tepanyaki and Shogun which were all terrific.
Our suite made our trip! We always need a tub when traveling and this room had a roman tub (kidney shape) with Jacuzzi. They even provided bath salts. There were his and her sinks, and a dining area with a bar and coffee maker for espresso. It was perfect since my wife likes to rest when I'm downstairs at the casino. The room was appointed with Asian touches as is the ship. Rosewood throughout. Watching TV or movies was challenging since the channels don't seem to make any sense, at last not to us! Many foreign language stations vs English stations.
What a quaint place. We spent the afternoon shopping the narrow streets and visiting the church. We bought a few souvenirs.
One of the highlights our vacation. We loved Montenegro!! The bus ride to the top of the mountain was to die for. The views and photo opportunities were endless. Later we explored shopping in the old city and bought a few trinkets
