I have never been on a cruise before and my friends invited me to join them for this 7-day Mediterranean cruise. Boarding the ship at Alicante was a long process but as I have never been on a cruise, I cannot say if the time was unusually long.

The first day aboard the ship was good but that changed the next day when approximately 700 teenagers boarded the ship in Malaga. Very few people slept that night as the teenagers were noisy in the hallways until early morning. Things did improve as the week progressed but security was kept busy dealing with all the complaints. It felt as if the teenagers had taken over the ship.

The staff were professional yet friendly and very helpful.

Malaga

Malaga is worth exploring. The city bus tour is highly recommended.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

We did not have much time here as it was lunchtime and we needed to find a place to eat. The Fountain is definitely worth seeing.

Florence (Livorno)

There was no guide once we arrived at the area by the Tower so we had some free time to wander about and actually buy some souvenirs.
