We chose this cruise because it fit into our tight schedule, we like Royal Caribbean, and we liked the ports.

The Freedom of the Seas is the biggest ship we've been on. It didn't seem as crowded as I thought (4600 passengers), except when we were trying to get off the ship at some ports and at the end of the cruise. I found it pretty easy to navigate with the Royal Promenade. I liked the Solarium for adults only, and there were several places to escape to read a book and watch the ocean.

We had an inside cabin, which was very small, but our cabin attendant was great. She was very friendly, knew our names, and always left us towel animals at night.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

Small but OK. We are small, so the tiny shower was OK, but I don't know how it would be for a really big person.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We stayed one night at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66. Great pools and good food.

Labadee

Pretty beaches. Lots of people, but there was room for everyone and the buffet was good.

San Juan

Interesting Old Town. We did some shopping and looked around

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

We took a shared taxi for $7 a piece each way to a beach at the end of the island. Just the view from the van was worth the price! We stayed at the beach, bought a drink, paid for beach chairs ($5 a piece) and swam. We returned to the ship for lunch and then went shopping by the port. We had a great day.
