I chose this cruise because of the destinations. I invited my family and they wanted to experience snokeling. I knew the destinations because I have been there several times before. The ship was wonderful and the cabin was good. I chose a window cabin and loved the view. However, the noise on deck 3 when we ported was a bit annoying. Still, I loved the time there. The staff was friendly. I had a great experience in the dining room. Food choices were great. I didn't eat at any of the specialty restaurants because the main dining, Windjammer, and coffee shop were all wonderful. We had a great time at the headliner shows. They were all great. The ice show was spectacular. However, I didn't particularly enjoy the ship cast shows. I would skip the ballroom show and choose a different evening activity for after dinner. I would not miss love and marriage or the Quest late shows though. they are always a blast. Pool side was fun and full of activities...or you can just sit in the sun like my wife and I did. We attended the art auction and learned a lot about art this trip.

The opportunity was with the shows put on by the Royal Caribbean singers and dancers and with the next cruise experience. The Royal Caribbean singers and dancers shows were average. They weren't bad but felt average. The next cruise experience was poor. My wife attended and inquired about options and felt un-listened to. She also found a charge for a booked cruise but only was inquiring. In prior experiences there were incentives with ship board credit. We looked at an 11 day cruise and were offered few incentives to book on board. We were disappointed with the staff as well as they didn't seem to be listening to questions asked but more broadcasting what they wanted to share only.

Overall, the experience was wonderful and my family's first cruise experience was rewarded. We are looking to go agian and talking about going with Royal again. This was my 6th cruise with Royal (and only Royal). I still would recommend this line and these destinations are second to none.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin H

The cabin was great. The only opportunity was a small amount of dust collecting on the light fixtures. The room was clean and the stateroom attendant was personable and took time to make our stay exceptional.
