We (family of 3) sailed Freedom of the Seas from Port Everglades on April 15. Overall, we really enjoyed the cruise, and I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5.

Embarkation and disembarking from this cruise were the smoothest we've ever experienced. After the 3 hour wait to board the last time we sailed out of FLL, this started our trip off on a great note! Cabins were ready right on time, and lunch was yummy, but expectedly crazy in Windjammer.

We purchased a GTY cabin and were very happy with the one assigned to us. 8650 was conveniently located near the forward stairs, and the oversized balcony was a great surprise.

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

The cabin was your typical Oceanview, but with a bonus... the balcony on this cabin is slightly larger than others as it's right under the hot tubs and juts out from the side of the ship. This was a nice surprise and gave us a unique view forward.
