We had done 2 Disney cruises so this was our first non-Disney one and while at first we yearned for some of the quality and service of DIsney, after a couple of days we settled in and really enjoyed what the Oasis has to offer. I like it when people's reviews break up pros/cons so I'll do the same:
Pros:
-So much for adults to do at night. We had 2 families plus other adults so it was nice for the variety of things to do later on when the kids just wanted to hang out in the rooms. Really enjoyed the Champagne bar as our last stop. Be sure to say hi to Allan from the Craig/Craven clan!
We had 2 connected cabins which worked out great for our family of 4 including 2 teen girls (definitely having 2 bathrooms was helpful). Well laid out and surprisingly quiet. We never heard anything from other cabins either beside or above us. Don't get that in too many nice hotels! Beds were comfy and we liked ours as the bed was right beside the balcony so we could wake up with the view of the ocean. Shower water pressure was awesome. Our room steward, Fernando, was great! Kept our room in top shape even if we had slobby days.
Nassau itself is nothing interesting to see. But we got day passes to the Hilton Colonial hotel. $60 each for over 12 year olds with a $40 food and beverage credit. We got to hang out on the beach, paddleboard (included) and swim. Plus its walking distance to the boat. Highly recommend it.
