We expected Celebrity to be better than other cruise lines as it was more expensive, so when we saw a good deal we went ahead. What a disappointment! Overall the staff and service was excellent, the cleanliness of the ship, especially public areas could not be faulted but the entertainment in the theatre was pitiful, in fact we tried it several times but left after a few minutes. There were some bars with reasonable music which luckily were good enough otherwise it would have been pretty dismal. Probably the most annoying things for us were the fact that the running track was in the middle of the sun deck, so we had to go really early to avoid all the idiots and then we learnt that you had to be like a German and leave your towel on a sun bed otherwise you couldn't get one all day as there were not enough for all the guests. This wasn't a holiday for young at heart as the ship seemed to cater for the very elderly and unfit types in wheelchairs. Wouldn't recommend it and won't be going with Celebrity again. Not value for money.
