There were 4 of us (two couples) traveling for a friends 40th birthday. We booked the trip because my friend wanted to go on this ship because of the number of things to do on the ship. Not that it matters but as two gay couples on the cruise - we found all the staff and crew very nice and welcoming, as well as all of the guests we met at the pool and in the dining areas and bars.
We left our of Fort Lauderdale and stopped at Haiti, Jamaica and Cozumel. I'm a GOLD member with Crown and Anchor, and from the time we walked in the port for check-in until we stepped on the ship was MAYBE 20 minutes; the fastest check-in I have ever had on a cruise!! Such a smooth and east process.
First: the ship is HUGE and very nice! The ship was much more 'sophisticated' than any other cruise I have been on in the past. There was no 'Vegas or Cheesy' on this ship! There is so much to do, we didn't have time for it all! And for being so big - all of the public areas were clean 100% of the time!
Nice cabin. Nothing outstanding. There is not a lot of drawer space, but the closet was ample.
