This was our second cruise on the Spirit and it's showing its age. The staff works hard to make it look fresh but the decor needs updating and some maintenance is required to meet the standard of other ships in the NCL fleet. Interesting ports was our primary reason for selecting this cruise. We ate at speciality restaurants six nights and found them all to be very good. They are definitely a step above the two main complementary evening restaurants. We wish NCL would bring back the Chef's Table dining option. We enjoyed attending two wine events but the intimacy of the Chef's Table was a special treat. We enjoyed all the shows except for a comedian that was the last nights entertainment. Wish they would have had the four show singers do more caberet shows. The four groups and soloists that performed in the various bars were also very good. Only negative was the ship trivia. So many people want to participate that they need to use a bigger venue and always use an overhead projector as some of the cruise staff leading the trivia are hard to understand as English is their second language.
