Sail Date: Apr 2017

My husband loves big boats and he cannot lie! He really does always want to try the larger ships and that is how we ended up on the Vista. Prior to this trip we have sailed the Carnival Legend and Freedom, Norwegian Getaway and Pride of America, Disney Dream and Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas. We have no real loyalty to one line or another. It usually comes down to itinerary and price for us!

Getting on the ship was really easy. We got to port around 11:30, a little before our scheduled check-in time of noon, but were allowed to check in anyway. Once we got up to the seating area, we had zone 15 for boarding. We only waited about 20 minutes and our zone was ready to go.

Once on board we grabbed some chairs and had not problem getting our drink orders taken. We had eaten a late breakfast and were not ready to eat so we just sat at the pool, had our drinks, and did some people watching.
