This was our second time on Celebrity Silhouette and this our best cruise yet! We booked an Aqua Class stateroom which allowed us to board fairly early and we experienced no problems at all. Staff was very friendly and courteous and we were on board and through the whole process in 20 minutes! We immediately upgraded to the premium beverage package and then got our excursions worked out. We then booked our specialty dining package and were at the pool in no time. We only wish there was a live band at the pool and not a DJ. Still a great time and our luggage was waiting for us just before the muster call. Our first full day had waves of 16 feet and it was very difficult to get around but fun all the same. People were getting sick and the staff did what they could to make the situation fun. We had dinners at the Lawn Club Grill two nights and one night at Tuscan Grill. Being Aqua Class, we had our own restaurant Blu, and we did eat there two nights and two nights in the main dining room. The only downfall with Blu is their limited menu. Food is exceptional but so is the food in the main dining room. The staff in Blu is beyond compare -- they remembered us after one day and even remembered our room number. They were very accommodating even when we arrived late one morning (our fault not their's). The shows were excellent, better than I remember them being on any other ship. The only excursion we went on was at St. Thomas. We did the catamaran to Buck Island for snorkeling and then to Honeymoon Beach. The crew and captain was nice and informative and they mix a mean rum punch. Highly enjoyed the excursion and would do it again. A great time was had by all and we even booked another cruise while on board. The Captain is the friendliest around and definitely a real people person. Cruise ship director was very sweet and it was announced on board she recently became engaged to another ship employee. Great touch was she came to say thank you to everyone as we left the ship. Our cabin steward, Stuart, made sure we had everything we needed. Another great time on Celebrity!!

Cabin Review

AquaClass 2

Cabin A2

Room was nice with plenty of storage. Bathroom extra nice with exceptional shower! Balcony big enough to stretch out on and enjoy.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Stayed at B Ocean Resort the night before. Very confused and unorganized. This is a one and done for us.

San Juan

We walked around Old Town and the Fort. It started raining so we went back to the ship.

St. Maarten

St. Maarten is always our favorite stop. Went to Maho Beach but this place is getting so busy. People are towel to towel next to each other on the sand. A little uncomfortable but still fun watching the planes come in. Great shopping in town.
