We chose this cruise because the port was close enough for us to drive and avoid flying to Florida. We also wanted to try this class of ship. For starters The Anthem is a beautiful ship. Very well decorated with many places to sit and relax. First off we have never tried the specialty restaurants during our past 5 cruises. My son is off to culinary school in the fall and wanted to try the specialty restaurants. We booked the 3 restaurant special as well as the sushi making class on the first night of our cruise. We tried Jamie Oliver's (wonderful), Chops (wonderful), and Wonderland (the best). Just an FYI for Wonderland. Go in with an open mind. The waiter creates the dining experience for you. You do not order from the menu. You see the menu and he starts to bring you wonderful, amazing foods to try. He will ask you for preferences or food allergies. Everything was wonderful!

Entertainment: Book online before you board if you can however you can book once on board. People cancel so check each day if you are looking for a reservation. Spectras Cabaret was wonderful. We will Rock you was fantastic and a must see. There is a lot to do if you keep up with your cruise planner. We tried the I fly. If you have back or neck problems..Do not try. It is harder than it looks but fun. The bumber cars were fun for my 15 year old. Activities staff, activities manager and cruise director were ale wonderful.

Cabin: Deck 12 forward/mid ship balcony 12158 & 12572 both very clean. excellent showers with door. This was a spring break cruise. Many kids. I could hear the running above us. One little note is the doors to other cabins shut very loudly. good location. close to elevators and stairs.
