What a wonderful adventure!! From the arrival terminal to final destination in Venice, this was a fantastic cruise. The Vision was in great ship. Have read a lot of negative comments before we left and was pleasantly surprised on how good a shape she was in. The departure terminal in Dubai is one of the best departure experiences we've ever had. From arrival to on-board was maybe 30 minutes. Beautiful facility and lots of agents to speed the process. Our JS cabin was wonderful. Never had a JS before. Well appointed, spacious, well decorated. For 16 days, it was very nice having the extra room. Had an aft corner balcony which on this class ship is absolutely huge. Wraps around the side of the cabin. The service, from cabin steward to dining room, was excellent. Food in the Wind Jammer was disappointing but we seldom eat there. Dining room meals were ok but nothing to write home about. Chops Grill was fantastic. Well worth the extra charge. Giovanni's was pretty good. Did not try the Asian restaurant. Wine list was very disappointing. We had the beverage package and few of the wines by the glass offered on the wine list were available and those that were available were very poor quality. We won't get the beverage package again. Entertainment was outstanding, some of the best we've had on RC. We only took one shore excursion from the ship (Muscat, Oman) and it was ok. We are starting to stear away from ship shore excursions. We booked our own in Jordan, Israel and Greece and they all worked out very well. All in all, a wonderful trip.
