We had a great trip, with a few minor anoyances, but nothing that ruined the vacation.

Embarkation could have gone smoother. We got married on embarkation day on the ship at the port. Apparently the guest list of my nonsailing guests (sent 30 days prior to sailing with all their required information) did not get turned over from the ship to customs, so none of my non sailing guests, the coordinator nor the officiant were allowed to check in in a timely manner. We were supposed to be on the ship before other guests were boarded. This delayed that by probably an hour. Once on the ship, we were taken to our room, as part of the package the wedding couple is supposed to have room ready in order to prepare for wedding. We were left in the room, as planned to change and get ready and told they would come for us at the appropriate time to take us to the ceremony site. Unfortunately, no one told the room attendant. The room appeared ready, but he showed up and kept insisting we were not supposed to be in the room yet, coming back several times. I will add he was great during the cruise, and never was he disrespectful, but the lack of communication, added to the list of "Things that can go wrong on your wedding day", ha. Made for getting prepared a little rushed. Overall, happy with our wedding experience, just would have been nice to have an apology considering we spent quite a bit for the wedding and reception experience on board. The room, I was pleased with, as well as our balcomy view. The ports of call were great, with Cartagena being the highlight! Beautiful city, and great port with the zoo at the guest center. During the cruise, they were a group oif unruly young teens causing havok across the ship (setting off fire alarms, smoking, drinking, disregarding pool rules, and speaking ofensively to other guests and crew). When speaking to Guest Relations about some of the incidents, such as diving into a pool and hitting an elderly woman in the process and laughing about it), they just said there was nothing they could do. If there were actions taken, it sure did not stop the behavior, and the parents were not held accountable. The only other big issue, is the ship did not seem to be prepared for a voyage of that length. Had several items that they ran out of by day 7, and never got replenished. First time this has happenned in our years of cruising. But was not end of the world. We still had a great time. Would recommend this cruise to any, except someone with children. Really not enough activities to keep them occupied. Since we do not have kids, this did not pose a problem for us, except in the case of the idle teens I spoke of before. Our dinner at Blu was great every night. And the one evening we had Tuscan Grille, best meal on the ship from what we tried.
