We chose this cruise because it went to Skagway and we could take an Excursion on a Narrow Gage railway up into the Yukon.. It was so much fun and the day was bright, sunny,& warm! We got to see sled dogs&pet their puppies. We had a BBQ lunch at Carcross, Yukon, which was far better than we expected.. The very best donuts on the planet!!! WE ATE TOO MANY!!... The excursion was great and we highly recommend it We took a bus up and returned by the train .
The ship is smaller which enables you to get closer to the shore line & all the Glaciers
You will have a better chance of clear skies in July, however, you really never know with the Pacific N.W.!!!
Cabin was very nicely appointed and everything worked... We could have had a few more drawers but that is always the case...The attendants were very attentive and friendly.. we had everything we needed...Thank you!!
The cabin was below the galley so the first night was a bit noisy during the night but after reporting it , it was okay. I also bought earplugs that helped.. We would do it again.. Very Interesting scenery and loved the Glaciers!!
Vancouver is our home port and one that shouldn't be missed...all great!!
Sailing in Glacier Bay was awesome.. It was a bright sunny day for most of the time.. we were able to get very close and saw the Glacier calve... Very exciting... loved it
We drove to the Totum Poles which were great but should have taken the Saxman Native Village Tour...The trolly ride was interesting but not what I would call a good way to spend your money..Wish we had done the Village.. LOVED THE PORT..SHOPPING WAS GREAT!!!,
