After seven cruises with Norwegian and Disney we finally tried Royal this past week. It was an absolutely disappointing voyage. I went to guest relations and was told someone would get back to me. Two days later we still hadn't heard from anyone. The same problems continued. Called Royal when we got back and they were no help at all as well. Horrible food, we had to clear our own dishes in order to sit down. Not just one time but each time. Pizza station under staffed to the point that the pizza was still doughy consistently. The spa had pilled sheets with a clothes pin holding the curtains closed. No spa music. Was told the system wasn't working. Bathrooms were filthy. Plugged, no toilet paper and no hand towels. The spa bathroom was even worse with garbage all over the floor. My husband had to run a tournament for the kids because staff members never showed up as scheduled. We even went down for assistance. The rail on the side of the ship was loose. Pinched my arm in between it. Have a video that I can post later. Drink machines constantly empty. Observed a crew member informing a man to not fill up his water bottle at the drink machines. He had his cap from the bottle on the spigot where his mouth was. Instead of taking it off and cleaning it he continued on. The man filling the bottle continued as well. Hall way smelled like sewer. I can go on. I reached out to this Facebook page hoping for some response. Royal was not even close to what I had heard or expected.
