We like Royal Caribbean and choose this cruise based on that and the itinerary. The ship is a bit smaller than those that we were on for our previous cruises. We had a balcony cabin and it was great with lots of storage. No issues at all with the cabin. (7118) We ate all dinners in the dining room and the service was terrific, the food was ok. We had breakfast/lunch in the Windjammer and it was good too. Fair variety. Lots of room, we always go I'd find a table. The entertainment was good, although we did skip a couple of the shows. The "shopping" area on ship is small.

We did two days at sea then our first stop of St.Croix , followed by Tortola, Roseau Dominica,St.Johns Antiqua and St. Marteen. We didn't do excursion in St. Croix, just got off and walked the area. In Tortola we did a ships excursion to the Gorda Baths and we weren't impressed although the area is beautiful. The guide stressed several times that it was a very difficult walk and there was a easy route if you weren't sure you could do it. We opted for the easy route only to find out from others that it was not a difficult walk, the beach was very crowded and it was hard to even enjoy the water. We did a city tour in Roseau , again booked through the ship and it was good and informative. We didn't book a tour in St.John , but from what I heard from other family with us, it was a beautiful place and we probably missed out. We booked a private tour in St. Marteen through Bernard's Tours and it was great, the highlight being Maho Beach. It was very crowded, but well worth the stop. Seeing the planes land was great. After St. Marteen we spent 2 days cruising back to Fort Lauderdale.

After doing this cruise we realized that the 5 stops in a row was too much for us. We prefer done cruising in between, but that's a personal preference. We also prefer a larger ship. But overall it was a great experience.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Nice room, plenty of storage. Balcony was small and obstructed below with a long covering of the lifeboats. We would not have selected had we known. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was small but standard. No complaints in regards to the cabin.

Port Reviews

St. Croix

Nice walking area with shops near the cruise port
