Embarkation was a hot mess. Will try to avoid the Port of Miami in the future. Long lines & much confusion. Not even helpful to be a platinum member. Room had a dirty comforter, but after it was changed it was kept clean & the room attendant was was very prompt. Dining request was not right, even though we booked over a year prior. Was told by the maitre d it would be corrected by dinner, & it was not. Stood in line for 20 mins before the matre d even spoke to us. Next day, our table was in front of the wait station. Dining room dinner menu wasn't good, & the choices have been the same for years. Also, why are people coming to dinner in shorts & flip flops? Windjammer food was ok some days, but mostly rice, potatoes, & bread pudding! Where's the chicken? Same foods & desserts on most days, which made it hard to find something to eat. Usually love the production shows, but they were pretty dull, & the dancers were not very good. The ice show was good, just wish they had more than one. The 70's night & game shows were good as always. Pictures are not printed on this ship, & had to look at them on a screen with the logo covering up most of it. Complained that it was hard to see, & got a nasty attitude from Alex in photo. I bought 2, & when they printed it was very dark & the quality was bad. I was told they changed the photo paper to a cheaper paper. Then, this Alex guy decided to butt in on the conversation again & argue with me. I had to tell him not to speak to me! Lastly, the ship was ice cold everywhere. We had to wear long pants, long sleeves, & sweatshirts. We brought pool towels to cover ourselves. We had to turn the heat on in our cabin to warm up.
Parking was convenient to the terminal, but the lines were confusing. Not clear where to go, especially for platinum members. Our lines were just as long, & there was no benefit. Forms were not handed out to save time. Computers went down, which created more of a wait. Will avoid this port in the future.
