Celebrity Cruises – Broadway and Beaches cruise on the Celebrity Eclipse. – October 29th 2016 from Southampton to Miami - via Boston, New York, Bermuda and the Bahamas.

This was our first experience with Celebrity cruises and so after reading all the cruise reviews and watching numerous ‘u-tube’ videos etc., we were expecting good things, particularly as the Celebrity Cruise Line is noted to be a 'premium' cruise line and therefore would be a new experience for us having only cruised with P & O and MSC cruises before which are widely reported to be ‘Standard' cruise lines.

Embarkation:- Very slick and easy, we arrived at the Southampton cruise terminal a couple of hours earlier than the suggested boarding time and went straight on board as normal. I was taking on board some medication which was not allowed to go through the x-ray scanner thingy. The customs staff were well used to this so after a quick look in my cool bag (cold, not trendy) we went straight on board. Read more
