Hotel- We stayed the night before our embarkation at Country Inn's and Suites, I definetely recommend this because they have a "stay & cruise parking" special which is great because the hotel has a shuttle bus especially for cruisers and a driver that takes you from hotel to cruise port in about 3 minutes, and our shuttle driver Duane was great! Hotel was very nice and clean and the employees at front desk were very nice and considerate.

Ship Info- the ship was pretty nice and huge but this was my first cruise so I don't really know how it compares to other ships in the fleet. It had lots of purple color like a casino in vegas or something but that was cool to me, no big deal. We did get lost a few times on the ship because the elevators were pretty slow and we ended up using the stairs most of the time and the thing was just plain huge, so we couldn't help but get lost several times. The lido deck/pool atmosphere was really nice, they had music/band going at all times and men walking around with cocktails for all to enjoy! The pool was always VERY crowded with lots of kids, and also the hot tub!! It looked like kid chowder at one point! But there again that's cool too, I'd just probably rather go when there aren't sooooo many children aboard.

Stateroom- I was pleasantly surprised that the room was bigger than everyone had me believe that it was, believe me, it wasn't the size of a hotel room but it was an okay size for a ship I thought. Very clean and had turn-down service everynight with a new towel animal everynight(I couldn't wait to see what my new animal would be every single night)When we came back every night our room would always be cleaned and straightened up. And the beds, where do I start......LOVED THEM!!! May have been the best bed I have ever slept in!! As soon as my head hit the pillow every night- I WAS OUT!! I'm gonna be on the lookout for one to put in our personal bedroom. Showers are pretty small but excellent water pressure. Also, we had a balcony stateroom and we were on it alot when we went back to our rooms. Don't let anyone talk you out of a balcony, we enjoyed every minute of it.
