Traveled with children

We chose this cruise because it was the right time frame and length for our blended family. Some kids are still in high school and with Good Friday off, this helped with the schedule. The trip was a Christmas present to the kids and was meant to help blend our two families and we had been counting down the days for 4 plus months.

My husband and I booked the Jr. suite so that we could enjoy the deck and a little more space and we were glad we did. The kids were fine with the interior stateroom.

After booking the cruise we learned that Empress of The Seas was the smallest and maybe oldest in the fleet. Initially we were concerned about the ship and what we would experience. Words cannot describe how much we all enjoyed the trip!!! The ship was the perfect size and we all said we would not have wanted to be on a larger one. The staff blew us away with their customer service and joyful hearts. Everyone went out of their way to provide a great trip for us!

Cabin Review

Cabin Jr. Suite

Great room with a great deck! Bathrooms were small but that did not bother us at all! The beds were very comfortable and the housekeeping staff kept it immaculate.
