We had a great time on this cruise. Meeting Claudia our cruise director in Berlin, was a treat and we knew that things were only going to get better. She was a lively, gracious host that took pains to see to everyone's needs, and always with a ready smile. The waiters, especially Lucas, were attentive and remembered our needs and likes after the first night. The maître' d was always at your service and was seen each night and morning going table to table to see that everyone had what they needed. He even pitched in and helped to clear plates and serve. We had never seen that before. The captain was around and gave a great tour of the controls that ran the ship. We met good friends, had a friendly crew, and a wonderful cruise. We have seen better scenery on other rivers but the quietness and tranquility of this cruise made it very restful when on the river. We never felt we had to jump up to the top deck to see something we might miss.

We have cruised with Viking before and will look forward to doing so again.
