We chose this cruise because the people we traveled with could afford it and it went to ports they had not been to. Drove to Galveston. One of our party was vegan and the wait staff and chefs did some amazing work for her. Other than that, it was a good average cruise. Walk-off service was good--made it off in about an hour and the shuttle crews worked very hard to get us out in a short amount of time. Did we travel with children? Yes, lots of them. We just did not bring any ourselves. Not much in deck bar service, had to keep getting out of whirlpool to go get beer. Royal Caribbean just seemed to want to sell drink packages, not single drinks. Smoking side very poorly (literately no) signage. Do not take the Panoramic Tour in Cozumel. Short bus ride to a shop where they try to sell you tequila. Large family groups on this cruise who tended to get pushy toward the end.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Standard cabin with balcony. Did like the fact that the closet fit my wife's wheelchair, unlike cabins on prior cruises.

Port Reviews

Galveston

Got a hotel about a half-hour from Galveston for about half the price of the beach hotels. Had a pleasant dinner and were at the ship early the next day. Don't try driving through Houston on cruise day, you won't make it.
