We have a travel agent that organizes cruises from Little Rock, Arkansas. We had 51 of the 187 passengers. Previously, we had used Avalon on the Seine which is a smaller ship but comparable in amenities. The Chef on the Avalon was disappointing. Big M, the chef, on this ship was fantastic, both food and personality. The staff were wonderful. The entertainment was fine for a small ship. I would have liked to have seen a crew talent show. It is amazing how talented these folks are. I tipped the standard amount but then paid special attention to the individuals that made this cruise great. The included excursions were very nice but we always take the optional excursions which were only marginally better than the included. The tour guides were all very good. My only suggestion to improve this cruise would be to offer a zip drive of all the places visited as Avalon did. Although the room was slightly smaller than the Avalon, we had a real balcony to sit an enjoy the beautiful Rhine Valley.
We are messy but the steward kept the room very clean. The balcony was a big plus. The heated bathroom floor was a welcome amenity
