For parents bringing their teens aged 13-17 on this boat, here's a review from the point of view of a teen.
I'm a 15 year old girl writing this review because when we booked our Mexican Riviera cruise, I searched the internet for anything to do with what my experience as a teen would be like. So, for teens like me wondering what it's like, here you go.
I do review all the other stuff about the boat too, so if you're here just for the teen experience, I talk specifically about that under the 7th section.
To get to the port in Cabo, we tendered. This is inconvenient if you want to go to the beach as they bring you further away from the beach, and then you have to get a water taxi to the beach. Besides that, the beach in Cabo is very nice. There's activities you can do for pretty cheap, and if you just want to relax, there's plenty of places you can do so.
Mazatlan was sort of spotty. The port is on the opposite side of town from the "golden zone," which makes it kind of inconvenient if you want to get off the boat. You have to pass through a bad part of town to get to the good part. You may not want to get off the boat if you have small children that like to wander.
Puerto Vallarta is good for shopping. They have a long strip of shops along the beach, but there's no shade, so remember to bring the sunscreen!
