Carnival is a great value and we wanted to try the new Vista. We loved it. It was totally handicap accessible for my son who is 16. He was able to get up to the Sports and Waterpark Deck on 12 which was great. We loved all of the shows. Flick was our personal favorite. Our cruise director, Mike, is by far the best cruise director on the seas. This was our second cruise with him and he makes it so much fun. The IMAX theatre was awesome. Just wish they had more choices in the beginning of the cruise. The only bad thing about the Vista is the Liquid Lounge. The set up is terrible. There was a line each night to get in which was hard for my son in the wheelchair. I just hope on future ships, they go back to the auditorium type area so everyone has a good view.
Regarding the food, we love Guys Burgers and 24 hour pizza place. The formal cruise nights had the better food. It was just average the other nights. I do not recommend the chicken at all. The Carnival chocolate melting cake is always to die for and what I look forward to every cruise.
We loved the Itinerary of Grand Turk, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts, and St. Marten. It is so much prettier, green and mountainous. We went to Margaritaville in Grand Turk. We walked around and went to the Fort in San Juan. We did the Grand Tour of St. Kitts and stayed on the ship for St. Marten since we have been there before.
Our cabin was handicap accessible with a lot of room. The only complaints are that you do hear the engines and anchor being so low and in the back of the boat. Since this was in the Family Harbor area, there were a ton of kids. It was messy at times because some kids run around and act like maniacs with no respect for the ship or other families.
