This was a first cruise for us and we are HOOKED! The ship was beautiful and the crew were fantastic. I know some people have commented on the amount of PINK on the ship, but I really liked it. It is an amazing vessel. It was over Spring Break so there were a lot of kids on board but it was still an amazing trip. We departed from Miami and we flew in a day early (I noticed some people posted that there were flight delays and they were hoping to make the ship- I would recommend coming in a day early for this reason) to explore the area. We stayed in an Air-BnB in North Beach. What a great place. The embarkment and disembarkment went very smooth. Had no issues. The ship was to leave at 4pm and we left port at 7pm but that was our only delay during the whole trip and we made up the time in the water. The crew and Captain kept us informed about this delay the whole time. We had a balcony room and now I am not sure I could ever do without one! The room was great. Plenty of room for the 2 of us. The bathroom is small but laid out well with plenty of storage everywhere. The balcony was a dream. Putra was in charge of our room and he did a wonderful job. He made sure our room was cleaned up 2x a day and that our daily newsletter was put on our bed. He was wonderful to work with and always had a smile.

Dining. Dining was awesome! Having the same wait staff all week was really nice. They got to know our names and what our preferred drinks of choice were. Our's were Francisco, Leslie and Suki. The food itself was spectacular with lots of choices and always a unique item on the menu. They also had "port of call" items representing each port we had just visited which was fun. We also chose to do the Steakhouse the first night of the cruise. That was really good and we got a free bottle of wine!

Entertainment and Activities. The Carnival Hub app made it easy to keep track of what was going on around the ship and being able to star the ones we were interested in made it easy to view just those items. There was always multiple things going on to pick from. The shows in the big theater were so much fun! They had a talented group of people singing and dancing. I would definitely recommend catching at least one show while on board ship.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8D

I loved our room. There was some noise during the night but not really loud or constant...just here and there. It was nice to have the balcony and see the ocean the whole trip. I would want a balcony now for every cruise.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Took a water taxi to Playa de Carmen for most of the time and walked the shopping area. Then went back to Cozumel and ate at the Lobster Shack...it's a must stop!

Roatan

Took a taxi over to Bananarama and just relaxed on the beach and played in the water.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Best of the excursions!! Included Sting Ray city, Reef snorkel and Garden Snorkel.
