I have been on 20+ cruises and never have a bad time, this cruise was fine as well, and we had great weather. Embarkation went pretty smoothly, we were able to access our cabin at 1:30 and it was clean and had enough space. We had a cove balcony that was really nice, close to the waterline and we felt NO movement of the ship despite what I read with other reviews,
They did reduce some of the sea day entertainment that I used to enjoy, they had only one cooking class on the first of 3 sea days with limited seating so we could not get in. they also eliminated the galley tour which I really enjoyed on other ships. It seemed like most of the seaday activities involved expensive spa treatment (ie look 10 years younger) or accupunture etc. I did use the spa and had a very nice but expensive 70 dollar pedicure, which was great, but the whole time, the technician kept trying to up-sell additional lotions etc, and suggested I have a consult with the doctor for botox etc. It became very uncomfortable as I had to keep saying no.
The afternoon tea was very scaled down compared to prior years, and no more napkin folding, craft like seminars, expert speakers etc. that used to be a big part of sea days.
Paradise Beach, good ameneties, beach a bit rocky but nice. Tons of water trampolines for the kids.
3 hour circle tour of the island. Good tour but he tended to want to stop at places where we had to spend money, I felt a bit hearded..
