We chose this cruise as it coincided with another vacation to Malta we had planned. Sadly the cruise itinerary was changed eliminating the Turkish destinations. The service always seemed to be behind, and even much cheaper cruise lines have better restaurant service. A couple of times I waited for over 20 minutes for a wine steward to come. The orange juice at breakfast was terrible, it was obviously heavily watered down. When I saw stewards steam cleaning carpets in a couple of cabins and there was a faint odor of sewage on board one day, I suspected something was amiss. 2 days later they announced a Norovirus outbreak. I myself was personally violently ill one day of the cruise.Their river cruises appear to be better organised.

The shore excursions were good, though some of the ports added to replace the original Turkish destinations had little to offer. I expected better from Viking.

Cabin Review

Cabin V

The cabin was very nice and the bathroom was roomy. All cabins are balcony, there are no inside cabins.
