From the minute we stepped on board we felt welcome with a smiling and happy crew! Taken to our lunch spot, Luminae where we were also welcomed with smiles and a feeling of "feeling like home". Our staff Rosebud, Elvira, Natalia were just wonderful and we felt sad when we left 12 days later:( The ship is in need of a little TLC but nothing that bothered us at all. We were upgraded (not free) so we camped out for 11 nights in a Celebrity Suite. Very large, almost too large for two people coming and going. The ports were wonderful with the exception of Panama. Felt we would never have to go there again. The rest was fun!
Captain Costas is visible to all and not shy about shaking hands or greeting passengers. We had the pleasure of dining with him and a few other cruisers. Truly an experience. The Michael's club concierge Manuela was always accommodating and a big smile for each passenger. Ralucca was the Celebrity Capt. Club hostess and also smiling and greeting each passenger, once she knew your name she addressed you by name.
We booked another cruise while on board and look forward to sailing with Celebrity again.
A large stateroom with a separate bedroom. Bathroom had two doors, one out to hallway and another adjoining the bedroom. Closet was wonderful!!!!! large balcony with a lounge chair and table and chairs. Furniture is in desperate need of TLC. Cushions were awful. Large sectional sofa and two big tv's. Enjoyable room for 11 night cruise.
terrible port. Dirty and nothing to see close to ship. Trips were far away and you had to ride a long time on the bus to get there and back. One trip did not return till 10 PM.
Went to Royal Palms and the beach. We have been there many times over the years and now shop a little and go to beach. Too many ships in port that day!
Too many stores now! Had lunch in a local restaurant and walked around a little then went back on ship.
