Cabin: Large Ocean-View Stateroom

We wanted to do the Panama Canal cruise from Ft Lauderdale to San Diego. We did the cruise before from San Diego to Ft Lauderdale in 2010. All different stops except 2. (Guatemala and Puerto Chiapas) Enjoyed all the ports and excursions especially the rum factory in Nicaragua and the jewelry making class in Columbia. Would I return to the ports again, probably not, but I can say I have been there. On this trip we missed seeing Panama City, my husband was born in the Canal Zone in 1946.

We enjoyed the ship, (the size is just right for us). We were in cabin 711, a disable cabin because we always travel in an obstructed view cabin (which were sold out, so we opted for HAL to assist us a cabin) this is the first time to have portholes but the room was great. The room is larger to deal with wheelchairs (wish I could have the size every time BUT not disable).

We always have early dining and love it and the food was better than our last cruise which was good also. Our dining steward was great as well as all the crew.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean-View Stateroom

Cabin G

This was a wheelchair accessible room and has a wider interior with potholes and larger bathroom with a large shower. Wish all the cabins were like this.
