this ship was a-rockin' and not in a good way. The seas weren't overly rough, but the ship rocked constantly. I have cruised before, and I know that this is not the norm.
We had no trouble with embarkation, because we waited until 2 pm to board. The crowds were all gone, and we literally walked right on. We found debarkation to be about the same, though there was more of a wait for that.
Dr. E. was fun and full of energy. While we didn't join him for many events, he did keep the boat very lively.
It was what I expected. We didn't spend much time there.
Don't go early! Every one is in a big hurry to get on the boat. Don't be. Eat lunch at a restaurant nearby and get on later. It will be worth it.
Dominican Republic is an interesting dichotomy. The port is beautiful, but once you ride past the pretty, it is depressing. Garbage everywhere, and CRAZY drivers.
A small island. The fort is a wonderful experience. You don't need to book an excursion here.
Shopping and a beautiful and clear beach!
